Description

Sensi Sangria Feminized is a 60% sativa-dominant strain developed in Hawaii in collaboration with Sticky Finger Seeds. It combines Banana Kush Cake with Tiger’s Blood, a cross of Maui True Blood and Frosted Flakes developed as part of Sticky Finger Seeds’ Hawaiian Bloodline series. This lineage blends tropical Hawaiian sativa genetics with the rich, dessert-like flavors of modern indicas, creating a distinctive taste that pairs bright mango and passionfruit notes with creamy banana, sweet pastry, and peppery gas.

Sensi Sangria Feminized is a rare bleeder strain, meaning about 50% of these plants can produce dark red sap during the vegetative stage. This unusual trait results from high levels of anthocyanin, the same pigment that turns other strains purple.

Historically, Hawaiians have used the term “Blood” to describe cannabis strains with this rare red sap, and Maui True Blood is the source of those genes. The red sap is most common during vegetation and tends to disappear as the plant matures and becomes woody, though some buds can still “bleed” when processed or ground.

These plants can exhibit considerable phenotype variation, particularly in final height. Some plants grown outdoors in Hawaii have reached 13 feet, so growers should expect substantial vertical growth and plan for topping or training if growing indoors.

Growth pattern of Sensi Sangria Feminized

Sensi Sangria Feminized cannabis seeds tend to grow into somewhat tall plants with a moderately open frame and enough internodal spacing to keep flowering sites apart while still producing impressive growth. The branches support dense, conical buds along their length, while the main stem develops several medium-sized, dense buds rather than a single massive cola.

When grown indoors, Sensi Sangria Feminized plants generally reach maturity at 3-5 feet and produce XL yields of 460-650 grams per square meter. Outdoors, these plants can grow to 175-300 cm (though we have seen them grow as tall as 13 feet and produce 550-750 grams per plant. In either case, the flowering time averages roughly 65 to 70 days.

The buds form into extremely pointy, golf-ball-sized chunks with light to moderate vegetation. Growers should expect a large number of conical, dense buds, which can make trimming a tedious affair. Overall, the plants’ structure combines compact, heavy flowers with slightly stretched lateral branches and thick, heavy leaves.

Sensi Sangria Feminized responds well to a range of training methods, including lollipopping, screen of green (ScrOG), and mainlining. However, the strain’s size can make it less than ideal for a sea of green (SOG) setup. Overall, these plants’ growth pattern gives growers plenty of options to shape them to fit nearly any setup.

Taste and smell of Sensi Sangria Feminized

As Sensi Sangria Feminized plants begin to flower, a sharp tropical scent emerges, dominated by ripe mango, pineapple, and sour papaya that combine to give the aroma a bright, fresh edge. Beneath the fruitiness, growers will notice a pronounced skunky funk, while creamy banana and warm brown sugar add a softer, sweeter finish. The result is a unique combination of juicy island fruit and fresh-baked sweetness.

After the buds have been fully dried and cured, they take on a denser, more layered aroma. The tropical notes take a backseat, while the banana, brown sugar, and doughy cake flavors become more prominent. Sugary hints of dark cherry and grape add a darker fruitiness, while the skunky undertone gives the cured buds a distinctly pungent finish.

As for flavor, Sensi Sangria Feminized greets users with ripe, tropical fruitiness and a sharp, sour edge that hits hard before softening into creamy banana and brown sugar. The same dark cherry and grape layers add sweet depth through the middle, while the exhale wraps up with richer pastry notes alongside a peppery, gassy finish.
